Actual Happiness!

"Happiness is a mental or emotional state of well-being characterized by positive or pleasant emotions ranging from contentment to intense joy."

This is the definition of happiness. Very complicated, right?

Well, in simple words, Happiness is when you have peace of mind. When you are happy from inside.

One of my friend sent this message to me few days back which really touched my heart.

If you have a family that loves you, a few good friends, food on your table and a roof on your head, You are Happier than you think.

Many people now-a-days, consider Money as the primary source of happiness. They think that money can buy everything. Even Happiness!

They think that they can buy a PS4 which will make their child happy. But, whom will he play with? Whom will he shout at? Whom will enjoy his win with?

Thus, happiness in not in electronics goods or things bought. Happiness is enjoying those things with a friend or companion.

They think that by buying their child cake pieces everyday makes him happy. But,

Whom will he tease while eating his cake? Whom will he share his cake with?

Remember people, the value of happiness increases when it is shared with others.

A single person can never be happy.

Happiness is not when you play with your PS2. Happiness is when you play along with your friends or brothers. When you can enjoy with them. When you can tease them when you win.

Happiness is not a bar of chocolate. HAppiness is when you share that chocolate with your friends. When you tease them by showing the chocolate. And when they run behind you to snatch your chocolate.

Watching a World Cup FIFA match is not what is happiness. Happiness is when you watch it with your cousins and brothers and family. Happiness is when you cheer together for the country you support. When in a crucial moment, Messi scores a goal and you jump and dance with your brother.

Money is the root cause of all evils. Happiness never stays for long time where money drives it. Happiness stays as long as money is not involved with it.

In the past, parents with 5 children used to live in a single hut. Still, they had peace and harmony. Now people have big houses with only 1-2 children with garden and pool and all facilities available to them. They still don't feel that happiness.

Happiness can never be purchased. It can only be felt.

So people, always be happy and keep smiling.

Some Common and Funny Phobias!

Xanthophobia- Fear of the colour yellow.
Maybe because our mom has taught us in our childhood that, yellow yellow dirty fellow.

Walloonphobia- Fear of the Walloons.

The Value Of LIFE!

I woke up in the morning and as usual switched-on the T.V in hope of some refreshment and some early morning news. All I saw in the news channels was news about road accidents all around India.

Some accidents which occurred recently,

  • 7 killed in Gujarat Road Accident and 11 injured.
  • Student loses hand in School bus accident.
  • Boney Kapoor, producer, suffers minor injuries in road accident.
  • 2 dead and 3 injured as car crashes into divider.
  • 15 killed as a mini-bus rolled down a forge in Himachal.
  • 1 killed and 20 injured in bus accident in andhra.
  • A couple killed in car accident .
  • 4 die in road accident on NH near mahbubnagar.
  • 15 killed as truck hits tractor-trolley in MP.
If you people start counting the no. of accidents per day, it will out number the no. of good news in the whole day.
According to Wikipedia, traffic collisions in India are amongst the highest in the world. It says that, every year, nearly 140000 people die due to road accidents in India. That is a big number.
Rural Development Minister and Senior BJP leader, Gopinath Munde died in a road accident few days after BJP won the general elections. Death of such people is a set back for the government.

What can be the causes?
  1. Firstly, driving under the influence of liquor. According to a research, 40% of the total road accidents in India are due to this reason.
  2. Not wearing helmets. Many people feel lazy wearing helmets. When the government imposes fine on people not wearing helmets while driving, people prefer paying fine. Though some people have genuine reasons for not wearing helmets, most of them doesn't like wearing helmets.
  3. Rash Driving. Another reasons for road accidents. People feel that they look cool when they drive in a rash way. They prefer being cool over their life.
  4. Exceeding capacity. India is famous for such accidents. A bike with a capacity of 2 is loaded with 5. People think that they would save money by doing this.
  5. Seat belts. Seat belts may not reduce the no. of accidents but can reduce the impact of the accident. Even after the goverment has the wearing of seat belts compulsory, many people doesnt follow the rules.
  6. Mobile Phones. Mobiles were invented for a better communication but has been a cause of accidents many a times. Usage of mobile phones while driving can prove vital.
  7. Roads. This is also a major cause for road accidents in India. 60% of roads in India are weak and in many places there are no roads.
  8. Teenage driving. Teenagers who go for night parties are often drunk and drive recklessly.
  9. Racing. Accidents due to racing on the streets are on the rise. Watching Michael Schumacher race is definitely fascinating but trying to imitate him is dangerous. People race on streets and are often killed in accidents.
This is the value of LIFE for people now a days. For people, LIFE is fascination, LIFE is recklessness, LIFE is of no value. They attend calls while driving because they cannot waste time standing aside and talking on the phone. They prefer work over their LIFE.

MCC Vs ROW

Marylebone Cricket Club vs Rest of The World.
The match between MCC and ROW, a much awaited match, is scheduled on July 5, 2014 at Lords Cricket Ground.
The MCC is captained by "The God Of Cricket", Sachin Tendulkar while ROW is captained by a legendary Australian spinner, Shane Warne.
       The Teams:
MCC:

  1. Sachin Tendulkar (C)
  2. Shiv Chanderpaul
  3. Rahul Dravid
  4. Aaron Finch
  5. Brian Lara
  6. Brett Lee
  7. Saeed Ajmal
  8. Umar Gul
  9. Shaun Tait
  10. Daniel Vettori
  11. CMW Read (WK)
  ROW:
  1. Shane Warne(C)
  2. Tino Best
  3. Paul Collingwood
  4. Adam Gilchrist(W)
  5. M Muralidharan
  6. Virender Sehwag
  7. Kevin Pietersen
  8. Shahid Afridi
  9. Peter Siddle
  10. Tamim Iqbal
  11. Yuvraj Singh
Team Form:
MCC:
With the presence of some extraordinary legendary players like, Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, Brian Lara, Shiv Chanderpaul along with some of the fastest bowlers of the world like Shaun Tait and Brett Lee and some classy spinners like Daniel Vettori and Saeed Ajmal, MCC is expected to show a good show at the Lords. The only two young players in MCC are Finch and Read.
When it comes to experience and records, MCC is loaded with it. Experience will play a major role in the match.
MCC will need its young gun, Finch to play a good knock. They also need Umar Gul to deliver well
But, as half of the players of MCC have not played cricket for some years after retirement, it will be a challenge for them to come out of their comfort zone and practice hard for the match.
MCC will be largely dependent on their star batsmen to fire. No player of the MCC is a star when it comes to fielding. Almost all players are either retired from cricket or going to retire except a few.

ROW:
With the spinning legend Shane warne to the classy boom boom Afridi. From the highest wicket taker of test cricket Muralidharan to the best opening batsman Sehwag, ROW looks a very balanced side.
Collingwood and Yuvraj with their excellent fielding capacity will play a key role. The above two with Afridi makes 3 allrounders in ROW, a plus point which they can take advantage of.
With the blasting opening pair of Sehwag and Iqbal, ROW is ready for some cracking innings.
ROW has the best spinners of the world in its side. Well experienced and with a lot of wickets, they will play a key role in the match. They have also got the best keeper of the world in their side, Adam Gilchrist.
Many of the players are still playing for their respective sides and which is a great thing for ROW.
But the team lacks experience. Only few players are well experienced in the game and as compared to MCC, which has loads of experience.

Overall, it will be a treat watching our Favorite players back in action again. It will be a great match with the better side winning.
In my view, ROW is a better balanced side as compared to MCC.
What do you think? Which team is a better side? Which team is likely to win the match? Do vote.
