La Signification De Mon Nom

What does your name mean to you? Do you like it or hate it? Why? #WhatsInAName

First, sorry to confuse you guys with the title. It is in French because I am a beginner in French and I like learning more and more. So, I keep using French words in my Blog.

The meaning of the title is- "The meaning of My Name".

I actually don't know the meaning of my name. I never cared about finding the meaning of my name until there came a topic in "Indispire". 

When people asked me about the meaning of my name, I would just say, "Shabdo mein kya rakha hai, Bhavnao ko Samjho", just because I didn't knew the meaning.

Well, as I have "Googled" my name, it shows that it is of a "Sanskrit Origin" and it means, "Handsome". Google also shows that my name is very rare and Unique. My name is not even translated in most of the languages. That's something to be proud of. :D

People like my name so much that they even made a "Sweet Dish" outta it. May be, they were inspired by my sweetness :D. They call it Halwa. My friends got to know about this dish, and then, some of my friends still call me "Halwa".

P.S- My name is Sohan and the name of the sweet is "Sohan Halwa".
