There are basically 8 major religions in India and Hinduism consists 80% of the population on India. People with different religions, caste and creed come together peacefully. People with different lifestyles, different way of living, different standards, different perceptions, people who follow different gods live together in a society and live for each other. Yes, in India, people live for primarily for others and then for themselves. India consists of The dedicated Jains, The following Hindus, The god Loving Muslims, The Strong Sikhs, The Helpful Christians and many such people.
A Country of Rich Cultural Heritage:
Monuments like Taj Mahal, which is also a Wonder among the seven wonders, The Agra Fort, Jantar Mantar, Fatehpur Sikri, Qutb Minar, Ajanta Caves, Humayun's Tomb, Kaziranga National Park, The Bodh Gaya and many such monuments, caves, temples, churches, makes India rich in Cultural Heritage. These type of monuments and Heritage sites can be found only in India. They are the gems of India making our country different from others.
A country of Heroes:
India has produced many heroes in its past and when we talk about Heroes of our past, the first name people tell is Mahatma Gandhi. Indeed, a great leader and truthful person and follower of Non-violence who helped India get freedom. Many such Heroes like Bose, Nehru, Bhagat Singh, Vallabhai Patel. Abdul Gaffar Khan, Tatiya Tope, B.G.Tilak helped India to get freedom. When we talk about sports, Milkha Singh, Sachin Tendulkar, Dhanraj Pillay, Rahul Dravid, and the list goes long. Such players have made our country proud multiple times in their lifetime. Sir Abdul Kalam is not to be forgotten.
A Country where the number of languages spoken outnumbers the number of states. According to the Hindustan Times, there were around 780 languages spoken in our country sadly out of which 250 have vanished in the last 50 years.

A country of food lovers. India is famous for its spicy food. The world's spiciest chilli, The Bhut Jolokhia, is cultivated in Assam.People are fond of wide variety of food. Apart from restaurants and hotels, the road side is always which people like. People gather around small food stalls on the road side and enjoy the delicious food.
